Returning home on Highway 12, Yurii Kuzmin took these last three pictures showing Tropical Storm Noel's close encounter with the Outer Banks. Road crews were busy for days pumping water off the highway and bulldozing sand to the side getting back to the asphalt surface... The 4WD SUV almost burried in sand and half-filled with salt water is a write off... (or you might be able to buy it slightly discounted somewhere in Toronto) |
