An update - 4 words to help elevate 2026
What we picture in our mind becomes ours. Look around. Everything we see began in someone’s mind…
Each moment in our lives conditions the next, so it matters how you do any moment in time.
There is more than a hint of Karma in this thought. How we respond to any situation or condition can be positive or negative, loving or hateful, or open or closed. The difference is notable and significant. It follows that if we are consistent in our response the ultimate result and return over time will result in a positive or negative, loving or hateful, or open or closed ultimate result.
My interpretation of this is simple. I will endeavour to be positive, loving, and open in my response to anyone about anything when involved in any moment of conversation, confrontation, situation, whatever. A response of saying or doing nothing can be a positive response rather retaliating in kind, like acknowledging a road rage by simply ignoring it, so it likely will not escalate.
The first of my 4 words will be HOW as in - How will I choose in responding to any (conversational/controversial) exchange wherever/whatever/whenever with others in any moment in time?
Live each day in 2026 like this is the last year of my life. I have been given, maybe gifted with, an extension of human time here on earth. How can I make the most of this. Since my word HOW has been already taken as a response the word PRIORITIZE comes to mind.
The reality of responsibility trumps any moment, so selfless becomes more important than selfishness. It’s time to be creative in how to arrange any desired moment with the challenge of selflessness. This word involves a challenge that requires creative thought to figure out a safe and loving pathway to finding a way getting there by making decisions that help in attaining whatever the goal. Make it possible to live every day to the fullest with all that ending in mind.
Two words Jibe and Ball Strike are hugely significant in Golf and Windsurfing. Making each stroke in moving the ball closer to the hole requires both club & iron swing plus a centred control in striking the ball correctly. In windsurfing (for me) that most important turning manoeuvre is the Jibe. Foot placement, timing, balance, and sail control are paramount in every successful Jibe in making that turn in any and all wind and wave conditions. The compound word that covers both actions is JIBE-BALLSTRIKE. Practise practise practise… watching appropriate videos, taking lessons, seeking competent advice, whatever, and always - practise practise and practise.
In looking back to Windinsight’s January 16th Journal Post (Find 4 Words…) the one word still resonating for me is OPEN. Receiving input is a critical component in reception. Eyes, ears, mind, and action are all receptors and the doers that need to be open and awake.
